Nate Weiss is a metalsmith currently residing in Johnstown, Pennsylvania whose passion for metalsmithing took root during his teenage years. He gathered his metalworking education from craft schools around the country, including Penland, Touchstone, and Peters Valley.

 

As a seasoned professional metalsmith with a broad range of experience - from architectural ironwork to goldsmithing - Nate has cultivated a skillset that is completely unique to his metalworking interests.

With a focus on traditional forging techniques, complemented by his interest in benchwork and ornamentation, Nate’s aim is to create distinctive, one-of-a-kind pieces that are intended to be used, cherished, and handed down.
